Lorraine Wilson-Drake is the President of Wilson-Drake Development. Originally from San Francisco, CA, Lorraine graduated from Columbia Business School in New York City and worked in Corporate America for 17 years. While living and working in New York, she renovated an abandoned Brownstone in Harlem. She married and moved to Philadelphia in 2001. During her search for a place to live, she was appalled at the lack of quality apartments with basic amenities like a washer and dryer. As a result, she decided to bring the concept of affordable luxury that was so successful in Harlem to Philadelphia. She bought her first abandoned property on Catharine St. in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of South Philadelphia and has been creating great places for young urban professionals to live ever since.
